Chris Wondra's Blog Made $400 From AdSense In His First Month
Chris Wondra sent me this article for my Blog Carnival, but due to technical issues, I was not able to post it with the others.
It is such a great post that I decided to highlight it today instead. So here it is:
How this blog made $400 in its first month with AdSense . . .
. . . and over $850 the second.
It is a very long article, but it is exciting reading. I won’t even try to paraphrase it, because Chris explains it a lot better than I could.
I totally agree with his conclusions, because I have seen similar things with my own blogs, although I have not been as lucky to get such huge traffic to just a few posts.
It just goes to show that if you write about what interests you, great things can happen.

Patrick, it sounded to me like he first got traffic by accident, and then did a little research to find related keywords for the topic that got all the traffic. Pretty simple, but sounds like it was really effective.
I have gotten a lot of traffic accidentally too, so I know that happens. I never thought about going back to those posts and adding a few more keywords. I’m going to try that!
