Making Money Online Carnival
It’s time for another edition of the #1 Carnival of Making Money Online. I hope you enjoy all these excellent articles.
This time there were three articles that were my favorites of the group:
My Favorite Articles
Erich discusses The 7 Habits of Highly Defective Bloggers in an entertaining and informative post. I like the catchy title, and the article makes some important points.
Terry Dean tells us what the Secret Ingredient in Your Business is. This is very helpful advice – I really enjoyed this article.
Amir Watynski tells us how Personal Networking is Like an Orange Tree. This is a great analogy that can apply to social networking as well.
Update: Someone else sent me the Orange Tree post, and I did not realize it had been copied. One of my readers alerted me, and I have replaced the link to the copied post with the original post, and have credited the original author. I’m very sorry to have linked to a copy at first.
I had 50 submissions, and only chose a total of 22, so the rest of the articles are very good as well. Here they are:
Chosen Articles
Terry Dean gives us some great ideas for generating income in 4 Income Streams in Every Business.
David Kam makes the case that you should Distribute Your Commercials Online. This is good advice to follow in marketing your blog.
Robinson Go discusses AdSense Psychology. He uses psychology to figure out the best placement for AdSense ads.
Taylor gives us 10 Tips to Writing a Successful Blog Post.
Liz asks, Are your customers loyal or simply satisfied?
Tristan presents a very comprehensive article on setting and achieving your goas in SMART Goal Setting 101: The Definitive Guide to Goal Achievement.
Steve Faber tells us about 4 Great, Free Business Resources To Help Grow, Start, or Save Your Business.
Ruchir has an interesting idea on how to use the “Buy Me A Beer” feature on other people’s blogs to help your blog, in Use the BuyMeABeer Plugin to your advantage.
Charles H. Green discusses trust in Who Do You Trust? What Trust Rankings Really Tell Us.
Ruchir tells us how to Use PPP to make money when your blog traffic is low.
Etienne Teo gives advice on How to Create Effective Affiliate Tactics and Increase your Conversion Sales.
Kathleen Gage asks, Are You Utilizing Push/Pull Marketing?
Liz gives us the first part in a series of The 13 Top Financial Mistakes Entrepreneurs Make.
Craig Layne tells How To Monetize Your Site the right way.
David Kam discusses The Advantages and Disadvantages of Parody Websites.
Caroline Middlebrook will have you looking at untargeted traffic in a different way, with her article 5 Overlooked Benefits of UNTARGETED Traffic.
Daniel lists All the Business Acronyms You Need to Know.
Sandra advises you to Sell Links on Digital Point Forums. I would like to add a note of caution when using this strategy. There are people who report paid links to Google, so be careful that your site does not get penalized for selling links.
Terry Dean tells us that Selling Is Simply Knowing the Right Questions to Ask. He discusses sales in general, but I think the idea of asking questions of your customers can be applied to your online sales materials, such as blogs, as well.
Please leave any thoughts you may have on these articles in the comments. Especially the last one, how do you use questions in your online selling?
- Pat Doyle
