The Carnival Of Small Business Issues

Today I am proud to host the Carnival of Small Business Issues. This carnival rotates hosts, and I am the host for this week. There are some great articles for you to read today.

Carnival of Small Business Issues

Once you get comfortable submitting your articles to Blog Carnivals, you might want to think about volunteering to host one. If you don’t want to do your own carnival, hosting someone else’s carnival one time can be a great way to get your feet wet.

The Carnival of Small Business Issues is always looking for people to host. You can find out more about hosting it here.

Here are this week’s articles:

ArtThailand talks about Owning a business in Thailand. It is very interesting to hear how different it is to do business in Thailand.

Finance

Matthew Paulson tells us How to Fight Back Against Debt Collectors Who Try To Collect Expired Debts.

Marketing

John Crickett presents How To Deal With Complaints That You Haven’t Recieved Before They Loose You Business, saying, “If handled well upset customers can become advocates for your business – but what about those that don’t voice a complaint?”

Christopher J. Brunner discusses Advertising Quality in Your Product, saying, “The number one rule for advertising quality in your product or service is to not use the word “quality,” but to convey it by other means.” I really like this article – it has some very helpful tips.

Gley Yahya tells us How To Build a Profitable Customer Base, saying, “Do you want to succeed in your home based business? If your answer is yes then listen to me carefully.”

Miscellaneous

Tupelo Kenyon presents Choose the Companionship of Positive People Who Inspire You, saying, “If the people you spend the most time with are inspiring, supportive, encouraging, and they demonstrate qualities you want to emulate – great, you are on the right track.”

Phil B. asks: Is it Time to Purchase Bank Foreclosed Properties?, saying, “With the increased number of mortgage defaults and decreased real estate values, it may be time to purchase an investment property soon.”

Aruni Gunasegaram presents WordPress 2.3 – Bring It On!, saying, “As a small business owner, doing any renovations can mean a loss in ratings temporarily that big companies don’t necessarily get.”

Annette Clancy discusses The shadow side of organisations (podcast).

Operations

Leo Blanco talks about Controlling Change in Your Company.

That’s it for today. You can submit to the next edition of the Carnival of Small Business Issues using this carnival submission form.

I hope you enjoyed these articles. Don’t forget to think about becoming a host for a week!
